Our services

Hot water repairs & replacements — usually same day

A cold shower is the fastest way to ruin a week. We carry the common gas and electric units on the van, so in most cases we can have hot water back on the same day we take the call.

Call us if

These are the ones we get every week.

If any of this sounds like your place, it's a hot water job — and we can usually tell you what's involved over the phone.

  • No hot water at all
  • Hot water runs out after a few minutes
  • Water is lukewarm no matter what you set it to
  • Rusty or discoloured hot water
  • Water pooling under the tank
  • Pilot light won't stay lit
  • Relief valve dripping constantly

What's included

  • Same-day repairs and replacements
  • Gas, electric, solar and heat pump systems
  • All major brands — Rheem, Rinnai, Dux, Bosch, Vulcan, Aquamax
  • Storage tanks and continuous flow units
  • Element, thermostat and valve replacement
  • Tempering valve installation and compliance

Repair or replace — the honest answer

A ten-year-old rusted tank isn't worth a new element, and we'll say so. Equally, if a $40 part fixes it, we're not going to sell you a $2,000 unit.

Sized for your actual household

Undersized systems are the number one cause of 'we run out of hot water'. We size on how many people, how many bathrooms and when you shower — not on what's in the van.

What it costs

Free on-site quote on replacements. You'll get the total — unit, install, disposal of the old system and compliance — as one fixed number.

How it works

No mystery, no meter running.

Four steps, every job, whether it's a dripping tap in St Clair or a full bathroom in Glenmore Park.

  1. You call, a plumber answers

Day, night, weekend or public holiday. You talk to the person who'll be doing the work — not a call centre reading a script.

  2. We diagnose it properly

Camera down the drain, gauge on the gas line, meter on the element. We show you what's actually wrong before anyone talks about money.

  3. Fixed price, then we start

You get the number in writing and you approve it. It doesn't move because the job took longer than we thought.

  4. Cleaned up and guaranteed

Site left tidy, compliance paperwork where it applies, and workmanship backed by our guarantee.

Hot Water

Hot Water Systems — the questions we get asked

How long does a hot water replacement take?

A like-for-like swap is typically 2–3 hours from arrival to hot water. Changing type or location (electric to gas, inside to outside) takes longer because of gas, flue or electrical work, and we'll tell you that up front.

Should I repair or replace my hot water system?

As a rule of thumb: under 8 years old and the tank is sound, repair it. Over 10 years, or rusting, or leaking from the tank itself, replace it — a leaking tank cannot be repaired. We'll give you the age off the compliance plate and an honest recommendation.

Is a heat pump worth it?

For most Western Sydney households on electricity, yes — a heat pump uses roughly a third of the power of an electric storage tank, and there are NSW rebates that bring the up-front cost down a long way. It's not the right answer for every home, so we'll run the numbers on yours before you commit.

Which brands do you work on?

All of the major ones: Rheem, Rinnai, Dux, Bosch, Vulcan, Aquamax, Stiebel Eltron, Thermann and Chromagen.

My relief valve is dripping — is that a problem?

A small drip during heating is normal. A constant stream is not: it usually means the valve has failed or the mains pressure is too high, and it's quietly adding to your water bill. It's a cheap fix now and an expensive one later.
